Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO)

Welcome from the Sonnesyn PTSO!

dThe Sonnesyn Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group open to all parents, teachers and students.  Our goal is to support the school and help build a community for our students and families.  Throughout the school year, we provide volunteers for classrooms, sponsor fun community-building events, and hold fundraisers so we can provide extra opportunities and technology for our students.

We work to help every child have a great experience at Sonnesyn!

All PTSO meetings are held from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Sonnesyn Media Center.  At meetings, we plan PTSO events and learn about what is going on at the school and in the school district.  October through May, Ms, Ward holds Principal Listening Sessions from 6:00 to 6:30 PM, immediately prior to the PTSO meeting.  Free childcare for school age children is provided during all PTSO meetings and Principal Listening Sessions.

The Sonnesyn PTSO is very excited to introduce Konstella -- a web, iPhone and Adroid app that allows families to:

-- Join an online and mobile school directory 
-- Receive event information directly from the PTSO
-- Sign up for volunteer jobs in your student's classroom or at PTSO events as well as keep in touch with one another.
