The federal government’s pandemic-inspired school meal waivers expired on June 30. This means that starting this fall, school meals will no longer be free to all students. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals through the Educational Benefits application will have access to meals at no cost or a reduced cost. All others will need to pay the full price.

Every year we ask all families to complete an Educational Benefits application. This is a big request, and we ask you to take a few moments to apply right now.
Applying for Educational Benefits offers advantages to students in every school. By filling out an application, you will help us qualify for education funds and discounts that benefit all learners.
- Student(s) and families may qualify for:
- Free or reduced-price meals
- Reduced athletic and activity fees
- Lower admission fees to zoos and museums
- Reduced cost for Chromebook insurance
- Reduced rental costs for musical instruments
To apply, complete an application online at family.titank12.com/application.
All students will need to enter their PIN each time they take a school meal. Your student’s PIN is their six-digit school identification number. Secondary students will also have the opportunity to scan their student ID if they have it with them. Help your student get ready for this change by learning their PIN. You can find your student’s PIN number by logging into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal at myportal.rdale.org OR at the Titan Family Portal at family.titank12.com. In addition, school staff will be at back-to-school open houses to assist.
You can add money to your student(s) account, move money between family members, and access eligibility letters at the Titan Family Portal at family.titank12.com. Families may also provide cash or check to the school kitchen manager or Nutrition Services at the Educational Services Center. Families have also chosen to set up electronic bill pay via their bank addressed to Nutrition Services to regularly fund their student(s) account. Please note, that no change will be available at school kitchen cash registers so exact change is needed or the balance will be applied to the student's account. You’ll also access school menus via the Titan Family Portal as well.
