Robbinsdale Area Schools recently earned a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO). The national award specifically recognized the district for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.
“We take pride in being transparent and informative with our community about the financial state of the school district,” said Ukee Dozier, the district’s executive director of finance. “Being recognized for that work is validating.”
As part of the certificate of excellence program, a team of ASBO finance professionals review and provide feedback to improve future documents, and to determine if the annual report is worthy of a certificate of excellence.
“This award represents a significant achievement and reflects your commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting,” said ASBO Executive Director David Lewis.
This is the 21st consecutive year Robbinsdale Area Schools has earned this award.
ASBO is a nonprofit organization that, through its members and affiliates, represents approximately 30,000 school business professionals worldwide.
